What Merav stands for
Six priorities shaped by years of service, research, and community engagement in Albany County.

Water Security
Retain water in the valley, build delivery infrastructure, and protect the river and Casper Aquifer from over-consumption by data centers and heavy new users. Smart planning for increasing demand from new housing. Laramie water stays in Laramie.

Energy independence
Rooftop solar, community co-ops, and plug-in solar for residents. Public solar installations across county facilities. Level 3 EV charging stations and EV credits to reduce dependence on outside energy sources.

Wide, open spaces
Smart development planning that supports working landscapes. Collaborate with landowners and state and federal agencies to protect wildlife habitat across Albany County for future generations.

Freedom of speech
Support free speech at the Albany County Library. Hold open public hearings and work sessions. Ensure the safety and security of public gatherings so every resident can participate in county government.

Equality and human rights
Supervise the sheriff’s office and ensure lawful treatment of all detainees. Provide proper physical and mental healthcare in detention. Oppose the establishment of for-profit detention centers in Albany County.

Public safety
Prioritize road maintenance and search and rescue funding. Support the county attorney’s office in the pursuit of justice, including prosecution of animal cruelty cases.
